About Me
Hi! I'm Chris, a frontend web developer focused on creating responsive, accessible, and visually polished websites. I enjoy transforming design ideas into real, interactive experiences using modern web technologies.
My Skills
I have experience with HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, responsive design, version control with Git and Ubuntu, and working with CMS platforms like WordPress and SilverStripe. I also have experience designing and working with MySQL databases and writing PHP code to support dynamic web functionality. I'm comfortable with tools like VS Code and Visual Studio 2022, and I’m always exploring new ways to optimize frontend performance and accessibility. Currently, I am at the beginning of researching and learning the JavaScript framework Vue.js.
A Little More About Me!
Outside of coding, I am a huge baseball fan. Professional, college, or youth, I enjoy it all! I enjoy spending time with my family, seeing new places and trying new things.

I transferred to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College to complete an associate degree in Web Development and Design. While attending NWTC, I completed classes in Frontend Web Design and UI/UX Design, Web Content Management (working with the CMS WordPress), C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Database.

Lakeshore College
I attended Lakeshore College in the fall of 2023 to the spring of 2024. While there, I took classes in Web Development and obtained a technical diploma as a Web Development Specialist. While at LTC I learned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL. I also learned Bootstrap5.

Internship @ Dynamic Inc!

I started an internship at Dynamic Inc as a Frontend Web Developer for my Career Experience class at NWTC. I am learning SilverStripe CMS, SCSS and Webpack. I am very excited about this opportunity to grow my skills and learn how to operate on real world projects!
